After the aunt and her nephew were going to Hollywood, but they got changed to go to Cape Cod, they are learning to enjoy thier time there. She begins to find more and more jewerly for her art pieces and begins to really like the new guy that she has recently met. She tries to picture herself with her boyfriend back home, but can't quite picture his face. After reading more into this book I keep waiting for something more exciting to happen and I don't know if I should just put it down and find a new book, or give it another try.

After completing the PRABE for this class I have come to enjoy reading more and more! It's hard to put a time on when to read, but I know that if I didn't have a set amount of time then I don't know if I would read a whole 90 minutes in one sitting. I do enjoy reading, but its hard to find the time to do it!

These next few chapters are all about the new movie being shot in Hollywood. Everyone in the town knows about it and can't believe that he is getting  this amazing offer allowed to him and his aunt is taking him along. When the time comes to go to Hollywood they are just about to get on the plane, when the mother of the son calls up the aunt and tells her not to get on the plane and that the shoot in Hollywood is not going to happen. So they have to hurry and get to another side of the airport to another plane that is going to take them to Cape Cod. They weren't able to sit in first class and the whole plane ride was a mess not what they expected. They expected to go to Hollywood and shop the amazing shops and to stay in an awesome hotel, whereas going to Cape Cod they had to stay into a smaller motel and one that wasn't as nice. As they are going to this new place she can't help but wonder if her boyfriend is thinking about her or wondering where she is at, or even if he has noticed that she is gone!!

11/26 8-9:30 p.m.
These next few chapter are filled with alot of excitment. First off the movie that they were shooting in the little town they lost the shark that was supposed to be the main character in the movie. So they decided that they had to shut down the entire thing. But before they shut it down they wanted the boy #4 to go to Hollywood with them and be an actor in the movie. It turns out that everyone even his mother and father who were always too busy with school wanted to take him, but the aunt finally stepped in and said that she would take him, because she had been with him throughout the very beginning on all of this. She finally stood up for herself and she felt good about doing it. Towards the end of the night her boyfriend came over and he again got her attentionby throwing rocks at her window. When she finally let him in they began talking and then she gave him a piece of her mind about him coming over unannounced and throwing rocks at her window. Then they had a long argument about their pets and then he finally took off. After that long argument she didn't konw if she wanted tobe with him any longer, and she had her eyes set on the electrician of the movie shoot anyways.

The town that they live in is having a movie about a recent shark citing in the ocean. So they are doing a movie about it and they help auditions for the people in town who wanted to be apart of the movie. So the mom of the two kids dindn't want to take them to the audtions, so the aunt did and it turned out that her nephew got a part in the movie. So when it came time to do the movie she took him back to the place where they were having the movie at and the litttle boy was boy #4 in the movie. It was pretty boring for her to sit there throught the process and when it was finally time to go home all she wanted to do was sit down but her mother needed her help in cleaning up the house and getting it ready to be sold.

New Book: Life's A Beach
This book is about the struggles two sisters have as they grow older. One of the main sister is 41 and just broke up wiht her boyfriend and had to move back in with her parents in their FROG- its an newly remodleded garage room above thier house. While her sister has three children and a huge house with her husband and a great job that overtakes her life. The daughter that is living wiht her parents gets a lot of bad talk from her sister about still living with them and notdoing anything wiht her life. Then she gets the unexpected news that her parents are selling thier home to live in a very nice retirement home. So she basically has nowhere to go, and living on a small salary because all she does is make jewlry and sells it she doesn't know what she is going to do next!

The end of the book was amazing. Turns out that Taylor and Denise both are tying to move on, but that's impossible when they are so much in love. Taylor goes to a warehouse fire and almost dies trying to save two guys. After learning about the one guy that he didn't and wasn't able to save was Mitch, his best friend he about dies himself. He decides that he will try to be the father figure in Mitch's sons life. After Melissa mitch's wife decides to move away and Mitch feels heartbroken. He finally realizes that he needs someone in his life to make him happy. He goes back to Denises house and tells him the story about Mitch and about the tragedy behind his fathers death. His father died when he was a young boy and that he was playing in the attic and he wasn't supposed to be up there so when his parents were calling his name he thought he was getting in trouble, little did he know there was a fire in the house and his parents were calling for him to get outta the house. After he decides to come out he notices that there was a fire and he becomes scared and goes back to the attic and notices his parents are outside, he goes to the window and his parents see him. They try to get him to jump out the window but he is scared so his father goes into the house and tosses him out of the window. His fther doesn't make it out and he feels that he is responsible for it. After telling Denise the story they end up getting back together and Kyle is happier than ever to see him. Taylor ends up adopting Kyle as his son and they end up having thier own baby and naming him Mitch!! Awesome book would reccomend it to anyone!

New book: The Rescue

11/1/11 9-10:30 I have started this book along time ago and had not ever finished it so I figured I might as well. Its another Nicholas Sparks book! A woman and her son who has problems set out on a trip, they end up wrecking thier vehicle due to a storm, and the little boy gets out and gets lost. The mom is woken up by a volunteer firefighter named Taylor and he sets out to find the little boy, who doesn't really speek to anyone, and can't. He gets a crew together and because of the storm they need to hurry and find him. After a long amount of time they end up finding him. Denise the mom had to go to the ER because she had a cut on her head and a concussion. The man that ends up finding her son turns out to be a really nice man and they end up going out for a few months everything is great, and he has an awesome connection wiht her son. Denise meets Taylors frineds and family and they all tell her that he is a great guy but after a while of seeing someone Taylor gives up and the woman ends up leaving. Denise has had this in the back of ther mind all along and after two months of dating this is beginning to happen. Taylor stops coming by or taking her to work, and breaks promises wiht her son. That's the one thing that she hates about this is the part where he lets down her son. Taylor's friends all keep telling him that he needs to work something out wiht her and get back together wiht her, but he doesn't think that he should. The next part is when he goes over to Denises to talk!

I can't believe that I read the full 90 minutes in one sitting, but it was the end of the book so I decided to finish it; and I'm glad I did! Colton is now growing up and they had even added another member to the family, another boy named Colby. One night they decided to hire a babysitter, her name was Ali and she was mature and smart for her age in high school so they knew they could trust her. As the parents came home the mom went inside to relieve the babysitter and ask her how things went, but when she got to her she saw her crying her eyes out. At first the mom was shocked and didn't know what happened, but when she finally got Ali to calm down, the first thing Ali did was tell her that Colton had told her that he missed his sister. The one that she had miscarried, at first Ali was thinking of Cassie, but then Colton said that he at one time had two sisters. So Colton began to tell Ali the story of his remarkable journey and past, and Ali couldn't believe what she was hearing, but it helped her to believe because we all have our dobts. After that they decided to speak more freely of what had happened to Colton. One day after one of thier sermons a woman came up to the dad and said that their had been another experience where a young girl had seen Jesus and went to heaven, and she made different reports on CNN, and made beautiful pictures and paintings. So when the dad got home he got on his computer and looked up the information that the woman had told him. He found some remarkable images and immediately called for Colton, to see how he felt about the picture of God that the little girl had painted. They had played this game in the past and Colton's dad figured his son would turn him down again and tell his dad that that man wasn't the God that he had seen with his own eyes. But when Colton didn't say anyting and had a look of awe on his face they knew that was the God that he had seen. Another important thing happened the parents of little Colton never really thought to ask if Colton had ever seen the Devil, but one day they got the idea and Colton just had a look of terror on his face and didn't want to talk about it, so the parents knew that their 6 year old son had indeed seen one of hte worst things that he could have seen. Because God and the other angels were fighting him. At the very end of the book it talks briefly about what and how the family is doing and talks about why it took them so long to write and put out the book, they didn't konw when and if Colton would be read for all the publicity. In the end this book has opened my eyes to something I myself had doubts about, but now I know that someday I will hopefully be able to see what little Colton saw for his very eyes!

These next few chapters Colton learned a very valuable lesson. He would always run out in the street and in the parking lot without even a thought that something bad could happen. So one day Colton was running out in the parking lot when his dad finally stepped in and told Colton to look out in the street and there lying on the ground was a bunny who had died trying to cross the street. It was then at that moment that Colton looked up at his dad and smiled, his dad was mad becasue he was tring to prove a point but Colton simply said that he wanted to go to heaven and this time to stay. Of course Colton's dad was mad and sad but simply said that he himself was going to go to Heaven first that the parent has to go first. That was the end of that conversation. Coltons parents are still trying to figure out what God looks like and what Colton's dad's dad looks like, but everytime Colton gets shown a picture he says that's not him. He keeps telling them that everyone is younger looking and they don't wear glasses or need them. So when they show him a picture of him when he was alot younger he begins to smile and they know instantly that he had indeed seen and met his grandfather.

These next few chapters are filled with much excitement and new things to learn about. First of all Colton is doing great and acting like he always had before the surgery, but he has a new thing that he has started talking about. He states that he saw his sister in Heaven, the one that died in mommy's belly. First off his parents were shocked after hearing this because they had never told Colton about this before, they had only told his older sister Cassie. He kept insisting that he saw her, so his mom who was lost for words was shocked and asked what she looked like, and Colton's reply was that she looked like Cassie but only much older. He stated that she was awaiting the arrival of her parents so she could finally meet them. They hadn't given her a name, but had a few in mind, so they both gave each other grief saying that whomever got to Heaven first would be able to name their daughter. They were both very happy to learn that their little girl had been saved and was okay in Heaven, but also sad that they never got to meet her or even name her. Colton also talked about sitting next to his pops and that he was able to sit in a small chair next to God, and Jesus. His parents were stunned at how much they have learned and were glad that little Colton keeps telling them these things.

Little Colton continues to show improvement after his near death experience. His mom and dad are trying to figure out ways to keep him taking about his uniquee experience wiht going to heaven. He says he was only there for three minutes, but they aren't sure about what three mninutes means in heaven time or if its the same as on earth. He also talks about differnt things that he wouldn't have known about his dad yelling and screaming at God to save his little boy, and wondering why he hasn't done somthing sooner after all that he has done for him as a preacher. One main and extraordinary thing that little Colton happened to say was that he visited Pop, which is his dad's dad. He died when Colton's dad was around his age, and Colton talked about specific things about his grandpa, that there was no way that he could have known. He knew that he was tall and that Pop was a big man and he had big wings, whereas Colton only had little wings. He also had a white robe and a purple sash. This really made his mom and dad really believe him more and more and want to be able to figure out what more Colton knew.

In the next several chapters. Colton is feeling much better and shows no signs of being near death or anything. On the way back from their trip Colton begins to tell things that happened that day that no one else had heard. He tells his parents that God is robed in purple and has a crown, and that his father was in a room by himself crying and freaking out about his son while praying for his well being. Also that his mom was in a crying and praying for her only son. Colton began telling things that he didn't know like in the bible that Jesus's cousin was there and that the angels are all floating and having a good time. This surprised his mom and dad because there is no way that Colton could have known those things without actually going through the experience.

As Colton keeps slipping further and further into the light they finally have been told that he needs to go to another childrens hospital becasue there is nothign they can do more for him where he is at. Before they are able to leave they have to wait out a snow storm that has blocked off the roads and so they have to use a helicopter to get to the new place. As soon as they get there they have to do a CT scan and the results are horrible, they finally learn that their son has a burst appendicts. Something that they thought from the very beginning. Their son has been going through some extrunating pain and the fact that he has had the bad poison going throughout his body for a total of five days. The doctors have to operate on him and clean him out twice and then he finally gets better and has to stay in the hospital until everything is all in the clear. This is when all the angel talk and the whole talking about going to Heaven starts.

These next chapters as the family is traveling along on their vacation away from all the past stresses, they feel that nothing can touch them. They go out to eat and the children eat pizza and other food that they enjoy. As soon as they get to their friends house both of the children begin to throw up. Cassie begins to feel better almost immediately but little Colton throws up every hour on the dot. His parents are worried sick and they try to continue on their vacation. The friends that they are staying with say that maybe they need to take him to the hospital, but they think that they would rather take him home and to their primarty doctor. As they are driving home they have to stop every half hour for Colton to throw up, as soon as they make it to the dr. office he does some tests and he says its just the flu. They take him home but he keeps getting worse. They end up taking him to hospital and they can't figure out what is going on with him. At first his parents believe that its his appendicts but dr doesn't believe so. As Colton is slipping further and further away all they have is thier prayers to try to get him through this.

New Book

Heaven is for Real by: Todd Burpo
Ever since I found out about this book and told my mom about she always wanted to get it and read it, I let her read it first and she was literally done with it after reading for two nights! Its about this family and they have two children Cassie, and Colton. They have had alot happen to them in the past. The dad broke his leg and ankle and then found out that he had breast cancer. He is a preacher and also a guy who puts up garage doors on the side. So with his leg being in a cast he was unable to to do that part of it. so thier financial part of thier life was not doing very good. After everything settled down they decided to go visit their family in San Diego and see thier new nephew. They were driving and they passed the hospital where they spent alot of their time when 4 year old Colton had to have an emergency appendectomy and almost died. He all of a sudden blurted out that the angels were singing to him and that he sat on Gods lap. At first his family didn't know what to say and then after taking a break and thinking about it they decided to talk to their son.

Chapters 16-19

These next chapters are filled with fun and excitment. After the fair and everything that happened there Taylor wanted to take Denise out on a date, with just the two of them and she accepts as long as Kyle is able to have someone to watch over him. Taylor's mom is going to show up after Kyle has already gone to bed to watch over him, in case he wakes up. The two of them leave and have a great time, in which they hold hands and talk. The next few days Taylor is called out on an emergency and it is at a bridge where a semi has hit a car and they are both leaning over the bridge, the bridge leads down to a river. Taylor goes out on the fire departments ladder to try and save the person stuck inside the vehicle. He has to make a lifr or death decesion and decides to throw the person onto the ladder before the vehicles fall down into the river. Taylor jumps into the river and just as he makes it down to the water and moves out of the way the vehicles come crashing down after him. After all the comotion has subsides Taylor goes home to take a shower and try to slepp, when he is unable ot do that he goes to the diner where Denise works to talk it over with her. She has to wait til she closes up to talk and they decide to go to her house to put Kyle to bed. Once Kyle is in bed Taylor tels his story and falls asleep right there on her couch. She leaves him go, and goes to her own bed to sleep.

Chapters 13-16

Kyle and Denise both show up to the fair, and sit by Taylors mom to watch him play baseball. The two teams are the volunteer fire department, and the police. Whoever loses has to give the library five hundred dollars. The whole time the two teams were neck and neck and the police ended up winning. Taylor goes over to say hello to Denise and his mother, they all end up going over to eat after the fair, and Kyle runs off to play on the playground. Taylors mom is taking Denise around to meet the rest of the people in the group, and as she keeps an eye on Kyle she notices that Taylor and Kyle are both playing catch. She goes over to watch and notices that he is actually throwing pretty good, and that he tries with all his might to throw them directly at Taylor. Denise says that its getting late and she has to go get ready for work, Taylor offers to drive the two of them home, and she agrees, on the way home Taylor lets Kyle steer as he drives, and Kyle is now in love wiht him. Denise asks Taylor if he wants to come in for a drink of ice tea, and he accepts, wishing that he could just kiss her. Denise gets Kyle ready for a bath and go back to talk to Taylor they both decide to go out on a date the following evening. After Taylor leaves Denise feels that everything is going smoothly and enjoys having Taylor around!

Chapters 11-13

Kyle's mom is now beginning to feel the aftermath of the accident with bills, time, and injury. The bills are beginning to add up from the hospital bill, and the towing bill to take her car away, and along with the other bills that are normally there. Also, without a car she has to rely on another coworker to drive her to work. When her and Kyle went to the grocery store they had to ride on a bike the whole way there, all of a sudden Taylor the man that found Kyle was there and offered to take them home, she denied but felt an attraction toward him, so he offered to take their groceries home, and she gladly accepted that. Then Taylors mom comes over to the house with Kyle to talk about how they are doing, she states that there is a fair coming up and that Taylor will be playing volleyball with the other firemen and that they should come watch, basically she is trying to set the two of them up!

Chapter 6-11

These next few chapter are full of surprises, after Kyle's mom gets taken to the emergency room she is there without any answers about the searching. All the while the search men are looking for him, and not finding anything. When all of a sudden the man that found the car says that they need to turn around and go in the opposite direction of the storm, because that's what the little boy would have done. He wouldn't have wanted to watch the lightening so they turn around, and he remembers that there are duck blinds in the far distance, so he begins to look in them to see if he can find Kyle. He radios to the other search men to look throughout the rest of them, the man goes into one of them and finally finds him, Kyle is cold and wet but in good shape. After radio over to the other search crew that he has been found they all begin to head back to thier cars. All the while Kyle's mom is sitting in her hospital room still shaken up from thewreckand she has no idea what is going on. After the EMS worker (the one that found the wreckage) his mom says the new on the tv about it and decided to see if the mom needed anyting, she sneaks into her room after visiting hours to check on her, she notices that she knows her from the library that she works in. They get to talking when the finally get the news that he is okay they go out to meet him.

The Rescue Chapter 1-6

A mother and her four year old son are traveling home after visiting a doctor when a storm picks up as they are making thier way home. They stop for gas before they run out, and the mother waits in line eagerly waiting to stay ahead of the storm. She is standing in front of a mother and her son who are fighting over something that he wants from the store, but she wont let him have it. The mother of the loud son says to her how lucky she is to have a son who is quite and sit beside her without saying a word. After she gets her son Kyle in the car she begins to tear up because he is not like other kids his age, he doesn't talk and has the mind of a two year old, and that is why they were at the doctor today. While on the way home she notices something ahead on the road and tries to slow down, but because of the rain her car goes out of control and she rolls her car. She is badly beaten up and is knocked unconcious, when she finally comes to a man is outside her car trying to talk to her, he is a EMS and when she comes through she notices that her son is missing out the back of his seat. They both end up searching for him, but wiht one problem, he won't answer when somebody calls for his name. She ends up having to go to emergency room because of big gash in her head and they stay to keep looking for her son.

Chapters 16-End

Throuhgout these final chapters Don now begins to understand why he was brought back on this earth and what his purpose is. He now goes and talks to people who have had the fixator put on thier body, becaue he knows what it's like and can understand what their going through. He helps the people understand that they will get through what they are going through and that they will be able to walk again. This book was amazing and helps me to realize that life can be taken just like that, and that each day is a gift and should be treated like one.

Chapter 13-16

Throughout these chapters Don has overcome many things. When he was first in the accident, another guy named Dick was there to pray for him and to hold his hand. Now Don finds out that Dick could never reach his hand, because it was clear at the front and Dick could not have reached it unless he had somehow gotten into the mangled car. Dick had previously died from a heart attack so his wife is telling Don this after the fact. She says that Dick was behind the car and had his hand on Don's shoulder, so Don begins to questions her thinking and has no idea what to think. They both decide that the one holding his hand was in fact God, and this made Don feel so much better in that his friend and God was with him on that very day. Don continues to tell his story and has changed many people's lives because of it, so he finally learns of his true reason why God has put him back on the Earth. Throughout his recovery Don's three children had to live with other people becuase there was so much going on for them to care for thier own children. The boy twins went to live with thier grandparents, and their daughter went to live with soem family friends. Don has a recollection of when his father came to visit him, while in the beginning, and his father said that if he could he would gladly take his place for him.

Chapter 10-13

In these chapters a lot has happened to Don. He is still asking God why he was brought back to Earth and what this will mean to him, and why he couldn't just stay with Him. Don is still having battles with depression and has still not overcome it, Don still is not talking about his experience with Heaven, until he finally tells the man who prayed for him when there was no hope for him. Don tells him all about Heaven and his wonderful experience, and then he tells him that he needs to tell other people about it so they can believe and do good in their live, Don doesn't want to tell the world, because he thinks no one will believe him, so he starts out small and tells a few people, they want more information, so Don finally sees it as a good thing to tell people. Before the accident Don had recored spiritual music on cassette tapes to listen to, so his wife brings them up to him, Don starts listening to them and really takes in the words, he suddenly starts crying and realizes that he has finally broken his depression. Don then decides to go to the church where he used to be a pastor at, after some struggle he speaks to his people of the church and the ones that have all prayed for his long journey, he stands up and they all begin to cheer, he states that because of thier prayers, he is where he is now. When he gave up, they prayed for him, and kept him alive, and for that he is truly grateful. Don has also changed the way some people think about live and how they think anout God, without God we wouldn't be in the place we are now.

Chapters 6-10

Still reading the same book 90 Minutes in Heaven. These chapters talked about the struggles that Don has had to face, he had to have a brace put in his leg to help it grow, and other rods in his arms to support them. Also, Don just felt like dying he didn't have any ambition to live any longer, he kept asking God to take hime back home wiht him, but God's only answer was no. Don has had severe battles wiht depression and has no willing to live. Also, whenever he has guests that come to see him he never wants them to stay and stare at him or take pity on him, so he talks for a while then they leave, until recently when another fellow coworker comes to him and says that he needs to straighten his act up, meaning when someone comes in and they ask him if he needs anything then he needs to say that he does so that they feel like they have helped him in some way. Although this book is not over it has made me realize how much I should be grateful for and for how much that I have is all that I need in life.

90 Minutes in Heaven

I started reading 90 Minutes in Heaven just last night and I read all the way to chapter 6 from pages 13-55, it is an inspirational book and I didn't want to put it down. The book starts out about a guy named Don Piper who is a minister and he was on his way out of town to a conference regarding ministry work. After the conference ended early he was headed home, he had two choices of ways to go home, both taking the same amount of time; he chose the path that he hardly takes, one that leads him over a large hill and across a bridge. It had previously rained and was a bit cloudy so he took it slow, he then came upon a semi who had crossed the center line striking Don's car. The semi crushed the car that was driven by an inmate who had volunteered to drive it for the prison, the inmate had two guards following close by. The car driven by Don was completely smashed and he was trapped, as soon as the guards saw what had happened they called for an ambulance to come, when the ambulance came they knew right away that Don was dead, after confirming it they went to help out the other people. The other people refused to go to the hospital so it was then time to try to help out Don, after placing a tarp over his body they went to try to get things cleared off the road to allow traffic to flow again, as it had begun backing up because of the accident. The people that were backed up in the accident just so happened to be two people that had attended the same conference with Don, after waiting patiently they decided to walk up the hill to see what had happened the guy who was a minister said that he could help if they needed him, and that he wanted to pray for the soul that was lost, the ambulance workers said there was no hope for the guy but he still wanted to pray for him. After getting into the car that was badly mangled he began to pray, he said that something pushed him to do it, he then began to sing to Don's helpless body, when he began to sing back he got out of the car so fast and told the EMT's, they were just as shocked, and called on the radio for the jaws of live to get there ASAP. While all this was happening they had called Don's wife and told her what had happened so she rushed to the hospital. Since Don's body was tangled in the car so badly it took a while to get him out, his left leg was shattered in two places and his left arm was dislocated and was over his head in an akward position, he was in bad shape. After getting him out of the car they took him to the hospital the EMT's didn't think he would even make the trip, but he did, once in the hospital they wanted to transport him to another hospital that was better specilized with caring for a patient with his intense injury, but because of the weather they couldn't use the helicopter so they had to drive the long distance to the hospital. Once he got there he saw his wife and he knew that by the look on her face how bad off he was. After being pronounced dead for 90 minutes he was sure that it would only be a matter of time before he was gone for good. All along this way in the book he is talking about his time up in heaven for those crucial 90 minutes, he says that it was very bright light all around him, and there was people that greeted him that he recognized from his time on earth, people that influenced him, his grandfather, a best friend from childhood and other people that he knew. Don said his experience in heaven was anyting beyond words and he tried to explain it as the most wonderful feeling he had ever felt. After reading the first 5 chapters I didn't want to put the book down, it is a pretty amazing book and it makes you realize what you have in life, and that it can be taken so quickly. Hope you enjoyed the beginning of the book as much as I did!!

Chapter 37- END

This is the end of the book and it turned out sad, but also good. Ronnie is still taking care of her dad and he is now sleeping constantly, at one point she goes into his room to check on him and he is not breathing. She calls 911 and they take him to the hospital, her father told her that he made a DNR so that she needs to take it along if something were to happen so she grabs that. Even though her dad had the DNR she still is not ready to let him go so she hides it. When her dad eventually wakes up she says she is sorry and he forgives her, he wants to go back home for the rest of the time he has left, and Ronnie knows that it is coming fast. She wants to finish and show him the song that he had started for her. As she is taking him home she lets him know that she found his lettters that he used to write to her when her parents got a divorce and she has been reading them. He secretly gave her the last one before he got sick, and she read it too. As she is playing the song that she finished for her dad she realizes this is their Last Song together, so thats how they came up with the tite, never knew that! After her father passes they all go to the funeral and Will is there, they talk about his school and he says that he never called because he figured she was busy with her father and everything. She understands, Will says he is going to Europe for Christmas break and that he wants to call her when he gets back. Meanwhile Ronnie is moved back in with her mom and little brother back in New York, and its a few days after Christmas break and still no phone call, when out of the blue her phone rings and its Will he says he is coming to visit his sister in New York and would like to hang out, he then says that he decided he wants to transfer to another school and its in Columbia, New York so Ronnie gets excited about that. Before he was going to go to another school where his parents whanted him to go to, he then says that they should go see a movie that night and all of a sudden Will is standing behind her. Ronnie is estatic and happy that he is going to be near her. Even though she lost her father she knows that he would have wanted this to happen. Oh and Ronnie is going to audition for Juliard the best school in music in New York, so she is back on wiht the piano. Now that the book is over I wish it had a sequel to it so I coulld find out what they did with their lives!!

Chapter 34-37

After the shock has finally worn on about their father. They begin to work on the stain glass windown for the church that was burnt down by the fire. At first Ronnie's little brother thinks that he is going to do it on his own but when he cannot reach the middle piece he has to have help.Will and Ronnie volunteer and eventually they finish it up. After Steve is put in the hospital his ex-wife the children's mother comes to take them home. Ronnie insits that she is going to stay and help take care of her father. Will finally admits to the fact that he knows who burnt down the church and Ronnie throws him out saying she never wants to be wiht him or see him. So that's the end of the relationship for those two. Ronnie's father gets worse and he is sleeping more and more throughout the day. Ronnie's old friend Blaze comes by to tell her some shocking news, that she told the owners at the store that she was the one that stole the watch and put it into Ronnies purse, and that they are going to drop the charges, so that's one less things she has to worry about. The other thing is that she knows who started the fire it was not Will's friend, it was Blaze's ex boyfriend and that she turned him in and is going to testify to the fact that he did it. So now Ronnie is feeling bad that she pushed away Will even though it was not his friend that did it he still kept it a secret. The book is almost over seems like it will never end, even though it is so good!!

Chapter 32-34

Well now that Steve is in the hospital with a terminal cancer, he has to tell his children what has been going on. He starts off wiht Ronnie, and she at first gets mad at him for not telling them the truth, but then he starts to make her realize that if she would have known this summer would have went alot differently. She gets mad at herself for the fact that she didn't get along with him in the beginning, but her dad makes her feel better. After Steve and Ronnie finish talking its time for Ronnie's little brother to have the talk with his dad about what is going on. After that they go home so that he can get some rest and Will is talking to Ronnie's little brother, he doesn't quite understand what is going on because he is so young he just wants his dad back. After he falls asleep Ronnie and Will are outside talking and she gets upset with Will and wants to be left alone so she can think.

Chapter 30-32

After Will nearly kills Marcus, Ronnie begins to feel like she hardly knows him at all, she had never seen him lay a finger on a fly before and now he nearly kills another person. Still haven't heard anything back on Blaze other than the fact that her body is badly burned. The night has finally arrived for the turtle nest to hatch, that Will and Ronnie have been keeping a close eye on every since they started dating. There is a large crowd of people coming to see the comotion going on, and just as it begins it is over before they know it. The crowd goes away and Ronnie and her dad and brother along with Will are walking back to the house. Ronnies dad Steve starts coughing uncontrollably when he starts to lose his balance and falls down, they all rush over to be by his side only to see that he had been coughing up blood. The call for an ambulace and Steve is wisked away. All along in the book he knew that he had been having problems like feeling weak and sleeping alot, but he never told his kids that he might have the same kind of cancer that killed his own father. Very intense part of the book and along with the movie when I saw it!!

Chapters 27-29

No, the story is not over. It really has yet to begin, its a long book. These chapters are intense! After the wedding fiasco, Will dislikes Marcus even more for the things he has done in the past. Marcus was hanging out with Blaze his girlfriend and he tells her to make some fireballs for their next show so she does, but as she is doing this she drips gasoline all over her t-shirt that is on the ground, but she did not know this was happening. The next day Will and Scott are playing for the final volleyball game championship and they are really doing amazing, when out of nowhere there comes a fireball, Marcus and Blaze are throwing them back and forth, when all of a sudden Marcus gets to throwing them to fast to Blaze and she can't catch them in time so she tries to bounce them back, but they land on her shirt, which is soaked with gasoline. Will sees all the comotion and runs to her while Ronnie does the same thing. Marcus runs away and Will not knowing how soon an ambulance would get there picks her up and drives her to ER. Blaze is taken into surgery and her mom comes out thanking Will and Ronnie. Will and Ronnie both leave and are heading home in a hurry when Will jumps out of vehicle to go beat up Marcus and nearly kills him, when Ronnie steps in and breaks it up!! I watched the movie, but not too sure if this part was in the movie for sure, but pretty crazy!!

Chapters 25-27

These chapters were full of good information and with alot of things happening!! Will and Ronnie are falling in love and they both want to take the next step in their relationship, but Ronnie is a bit hesitant. Will invited Ronnie to his sisters wedding, and it's going to be a black tie and gown wedding so Ronnie is worrying about what to wear. Ronnie's little brother sees her struggling with something to wear and gives her some money, that is her's anyways becuse she always gives him money for things that she does not want told to her father from his, alot like a bribe!! In the end she goes out and gets a fancy dress and gets her hair done, she goes to the wedding and they are about to go be alone on Will's dad's boat, but they are interrupted by Marcus the guy that likes Ronnie, but is up to no good. He just wants to cause a scene, so the two guys wrestle and end up tearing down the tent. Will's father drives Ronnie home because she is too embarrassed by the fact that Will's mom is saying that it is her fault. Ronnie tells will's dad to tell him that its over, even though she doesn't want it to be over. Will's sister stops by Ronnie's house and asks if she truthfully loves her brohter, Ronnie says yes and Will's sister says that she needs to go apologize to Will and get back together. So that is what she does!! Sorry I had to get that all in otherwise you won't know what happened LOL!!

Chapter 23-25

Wow that was a quick hour and half I almost wanted to keep reading, but I figured I would not stop and have plenty of other things that I need to be doing. These chapters are getting more intense than the last ones have been. Ronnie and Will are continuing their walk along the beach and Will begins to realize that he is falling in love with Ronnie, they begin to talk about their futures each separate. Will says he will be going to a school that his mom is wanting him to go to a good school and Will really wants to focus on science major. The reason why he is going to that particular school is because he feels obligated to his mother, when he was younger his mom was driving Will and a friend and Will's younger brother. Will and his friend were playing Mercy and messing around Will's friend screamed and Will's mother looked back and lost control of the car they all flew out and into a lake where Will's younger brother was killed on impact. Will's friend pulled them all out. Will proceeded to ask Ronnie to tell him something he did not know about her so she told him the story of why she did not talk to her father for three years, becuasehe left her mom and the family. The two continue to walk along the beach and continue with their talk.

Chapter 21-23

After Ronnie and Will go on their walk they begin to get more comfortable around each other. She has become more involved in her dad'slife and with her brother. Ronnie is still obsessed about the sea turtles eggs and keeping them safe.

Chapters 18-21

Last night I read my 90 minutes I did not want to put down the book, I guess that's a good thing! Throughout these chapters Ronnie is getting closer to her dad and getting along with her brother more. Her and Will are beginning to become closer and she even went over to meet his parents before he met and ate with her dad. Ronnie found out that Will is from a wealthy family and lives in a gated house, his mom does not like Ronnie so much, but his dad showed off his remote control airplane. After Will keeps blowing off his friend who he plays volleyball with, his friend is getting really upset about it. After Will and Ronnie get done playing poker with her older brother and father they go out on a walk along the beach to talk.

Chapter 16-18

Today I read for about 45 minutes I continued from my last post. Ronnie is now being charged with the robbery that she truthfully did not do, but Blaze her ex friend did after putting a watch in her pocket. Ronnie can not head back to New York until after this is all settled, which she does not mind so much now that her and Will have gotten closer. Ronnie and her dad are now on better terms and she is starting to wonder why she disowned him in the first place

The Last Song

I began reading this book by Nicholas Sparks, The Last Song after I got it from christmas. I will start my blog from the beginning of chapter 13, I read for about fourty five minutes on Thursday January 6th. It was soon after Ronnie met Will and told him to cover the turtles nest, because he volunteers for the local aquarium, she was mad becuase when she got back to check on the nest is was uncovered and could have been in danger. Ronnie and her dad have not been on good terms until just recently and she has begun to spend more time with him and her younger brother.
