Chapter 23-25

Wow that was a quick hour and half I almost wanted to keep reading, but I figured I would not stop and have plenty of other things that I need to be doing. These chapters are getting more intense than the last ones have been. Ronnie and Will are continuing their walk along the beach and Will begins to realize that he is falling in love with Ronnie, they begin to talk about their futures each separate. Will says he will be going to a school that his mom is wanting him to go to a good school and Will really wants to focus on science major. The reason why he is going to that particular school is because he feels obligated to his mother, when he was younger his mom was driving Will and a friend and Will's younger brother. Will and his friend were playing Mercy and messing around Will's friend screamed and Will's mother looked back and lost control of the car they all flew out and into a lake where Will's younger brother was killed on impact. Will's friend pulled them all out. Will proceeded to ask Ronnie to tell him something he did not know about her so she told him the story of why she did not talk to her father for three years, becuasehe left her mom and the family. The two continue to walk along the beach and continue with their talk.

  1. I am so glad you are reading a book that allows you to just sit and read for 45-90 minutes, and the time goes by in a snap. That is a great thing to point out to your students - how good books suck us in just like good movies do. I'll be interested in seeing where the book goes from here. I often enjoy Sparks' books; I may need to add this one to my list. Excellent job of blogging. You have received full credit for this part of the class so far!
